4: Classic French Tips

Classic French Tips

So i decided i would cut the length of my nails in half! and i was left with square shaped nails which inspired me to do this frenchie! feels so weird cause its so different to what I'm used too!

How i achieved this look:
1 Base coat layer
1 french pink layer ( my favourite, petal pusher by Sally Hansen, the brush is amazing!)
2 coats of white hand painted on tips ( you can use any but its easier with a formula designed for french tips, i used an AVON formula)
and then a top coat
Don't worry if you get white on your fingers as this will easily peel/chip off next time you shower, try and get the rest as neat as possible though!

3: Hello kitty + OPI Strawberry margarita

Hello Kitty feature nails with OPI Strawberry margarita

So i got the hello kitty nail stickers as a gift last year, and i already had used them as a full set at christmas time, so i decided i could use the leftovers on my ring finger and thumb, then used the opi strawberry margarita to match in with the pink used on the stickers. I used Jordana base & top coat again to help it last as long as possible.

2 : Natural nails!

My Natural Nails!

Here is a pic of my natural nails (with clear coat) I'm very lucky to have ULTRA STRONG nails, i mean they are stronger than most peoples toe nails!! I don't eat any special diet or use any nail strengtheners , I'm just really lucky! Also they are naturally that white at the ends!, although they were not for years as I'm a trained hairdresser and they were constantly brown from hair colour.

I have quite short nail beds, but my nails grow fast , I think this is just a bit less than a months growth from completely cut right back, and obviously they have been shaped and filed. I sometimes get white marks in my nails , although these are not from calcium or a lack of they are simply where i have knocked my nails quite hard and the area turns white!!

1 : Revlon, Steel-etto

So this morning i decided i would paint my nails with Revlon dark pleasures, Steel-etto. this is an old one of mine that i hadn't used in ages, it actually turned out quite well. Its a nice dark grey that has blue green reflects ( that have really shown up in this photo). I used the Jordanna base & top coat, and hopefully it will last the week! :)

UPDATE :

I was Amazed at how well this lasted, this is a pic after 10 days of wear! i thought it lasted so well!
