8: Perfect Chocolate Nails

Revlon Chocolate Nails
The perfect chocolate brown nail colour from Revlon's nail art, moon candy range.
It's a really nice alternative to black nails. Love the shape and shine of my nails here.

7: The Peacock

The Peacock
So i ordered some nail art stickers off ebay from china, they arrived all screwed up in letterbox! and they were actually very hard to use, as most of them actually went on back to front and i ended up having to paint half the design on :(
But overall it turned out quite good on my short nails, I used Rimmel - Green with envy as a base coat, to complement the green of the feather

6: Mermaid Ariel

Mermaid Ariel Acrylic nail
So i decided since my real nails were so bad that i would practice some nail art on acrylic nails, and here is my little mermaid, obviously not perfect! but i thought it was pretty good considering how small nails actually are!
I used acrylic paint on an acrylic nail that went from blue to white glitter, with also a few gold caviar nail beads for the flower in her hand, and a glossy top coat.

Bad nails!

Unfortunately for almost the last month my nails have been terrible, with doing up our house, using paint stripper and sanding equipment, so they are short, chipped and fluro pink! Cant wait to refresh them with a new look! I have been working on some hand painted acrylic nail designs though, so i will get them up as soon as possible.

5: Spotty Purple Ombre

Spotty Purple Ombre

I created this look by using a dotting tool to apply small dots to the nail, starting with the darkest colour, and gradually mixing with a lighter colour to create the purple fade effect, and then added a light sheer purple top coat to tie it together ( i found the dots to be too contrasting without it) this did take a wee while to dry, but i was very careful about not bumping anything and also used a drier to speed it up. there were a few air bubbles in the polish at the tips, i think because the polish on my mixer was starting to dry before i had a chance to apply it.

4: Classic French Tips

Classic French Tips

So i decided i would cut the length of my nails in half! and i was left with square shaped nails which inspired me to do this frenchie! feels so weird cause its so different to what I'm used too!

How i achieved this look:
1 Base coat layer
1 french pink layer ( my favourite, petal pusher by Sally Hansen, the brush is amazing!)
2 coats of white hand painted on tips ( you can use any but its easier with a formula designed for french tips, i used an AVON formula)
and then a top coat
Don't worry if you get white on your fingers as this will easily peel/chip off next time you shower, try and get the rest as neat as possible though!

3: Hello kitty + OPI Strawberry margarita

Hello Kitty feature nails with OPI Strawberry margarita

So i got the hello kitty nail stickers as a gift last year, and i already had used them as a full set at christmas time, so i decided i could use the leftovers on my ring finger and thumb, then used the opi strawberry margarita to match in with the pink used on the stickers. I used Jordana base & top coat again to help it last as long as possible.
